PRR Brings Home Gold and Platinum Silverware from MarCom Awards
October 18, 2017
We have some news to share! We won three awards at the MarCom Awards, an international awards competition that recognizes outstanding creative achievement by marketing and communication professionals.
PRR won platinum with the following client and campaign:
- Just One Trip Videos for King County Metro. PRR developed a series of comedic web and TV spots with King County Metro to encourage residents to try something other than driving alone on their next trip. The campaign drove sign-ups via the Just One Trip website and offered rewards for reducing drive-alone trips.
PRR won gold with the following client and campaign:
- Compost More Videos for the King County Compost More Campaign. PRR developed an animated video series for King County Compost More, encouraging residents to compost their food waste. The humor-driven spots feature three bugs/critters who live in a compost bin, and wax philosophical on their purpose in the bin. The spots ran on Facebook, YouTube, and Pandora.
PRR received an honorable mention with the following client campaign:
- Virginia Grand Driver for the Virginia Department of the Aging. PRR developed a TV and web spot for Virginia Department for the Aging. The spot features an emotional testimonial with a senior driver and his adult caregiver/daughter and encourages others to have the difficult conversation about driving safety. The spot drives viewers to the Virginia Grand Driver website for resources.
PRR believes that in order to affect change, we first have to move people. Video provides a uniquely emotional storytelling platform that can influence an audience in a powerful way. PRR’s in-house video team creates rich visual stories, like the award winners above, that connect with the audience, deliver clear messaging, and inspire change. Everything from concept development and scriptwriting to production and post-production is done in house. The videos are then seamlessly integrated into a larger marketing campaign with social media, paid advertising, and digital content.
“The PRR team helped create a social media campaign for King County Solid Waste which engaged our residents, making composting funny, interesting and easy for them,” said Gerty Coville, Project Manager with the King County Solid Waste Division. “The campaign success in creating an online conversation was a real bonus for us and I recommend the team, highly.”
