Vietnamese Language Services Specialist
Washington
I provide Vietnamese language support services to environmental, transportation, and health projects, including transcription, translation, interpretation, outreach, and facilitation for focus groups. The opportunity to work as a Vietnamese Language Services Specialist at PRR allows me to help people from diverse backgrounds connect and understand each other better. Some of my volunteer work includes helping Vietnamese seniors, especially new immigrants, in medical interpretations and permanent resident (green card) interviews and supporting international students with college admission processes. Outside of work, I’m passionate about traveling and aim to visit all 50 states before I turn 50.
People are at the heart of our work, and we have some really great people.
We help our clients change the world for the better. Interested in joining the team?
An anti-racist PRR dismantles systems of advantage based on race when and wherever possible. We engage staff of all racial identities in dismantling white supremacy culture at work. This includes personal ideologies, beliefs, and behaviors. And, it includes removing white supremacy culture from the systems, cultural messages, institutional policies, procedures, and practices that PRR and our staff interact with and inform. We believe it is not enough to be “not racist.” We must be “anti-racist.”
