Community Engagement Specialist
Washington
We all want to be aware of the things that might impact our daily lives – whether it’s construction or emergency water supply preparedness. I specialize in helping plan for and create innovative, inclusive, and relevant opportunities for people to see and engage with this information on behalf of our clients in the transportation, health, and environmental sectors. As lead of PRR’s community-based organization (CBO) partnerships program, I guide the process to build meaningful, reciprocal relationships with CBOs in the communities we serve. I came to PRR from the nonprofit sector and understand how critical community resources and programs are to a resilient, informed community ecosystem. In my free time, you’ll find me at a thrift store, playing with my two kitties, practicing hot yoga, or enjoying a Hazy IPA!
People are at the heart of our work, and we have some really great people.
We help our clients change the world for the better. Interested in joining the team?
An anti-racist PRR dismantles systems of advantage based on race when and wherever possible. We engage staff of all racial identities in dismantling white supremacy culture at work. This includes personal ideologies, beliefs, and behaviors. And, it includes removing white supremacy culture from the systems, cultural messages, institutional policies, procedures, and practices that PRR and our staff interact with and inform. We believe it is not enough to be “not racist.” We must be “anti-racist.”
