Community Engagement Specialist
As a Community Engagement Specialist, I help clients connect and listen to the communities and organizations affected by planned or active projects. Even more rewarding, working at PRR has allowed me to focus on engaging with marginalized, overlooked, and harder to reach communities associated with our client work. My passion is returning agency to communities forced to go without, and I'm happy to continue doing so with an organization like PRR that values doing the same. My passion for community extends beyond work to giving back through service as a member of the Canton Community Association, and previously a NAACP Youth Executive Committee member. When I’m not working, I’m playing with my dogs, traveling with my wife, and practicing hot yoga.

An anti-racist PRR dismantles systems of advantage based on race when and wherever possible. We engage staff of all racial identities in dismantling white supremacy culture at work. This includes personal ideologies, beliefs, and behaviors. And, it includes removing white supremacy culture from the systems, cultural messages, institutional policies, procedures, and practices that PRR and our staff interact with and inform. We believe it is not enough to be “not racist.” We must be “anti-racist.”
