Russian Language Services Specialist
Washington
I serve as the bridge between our clients and the Russian community, bringing understanding and creativity to projects that involve a variety of worldviews. This work allows me to utilize my passions for language, cross-cultural communication, and outreach to the Russian-speaking community. Previous to PRR, I supported similar work for the Welcome to Kirkland event, part of the national movement, Welcoming America. The event brought together musicians, dancers, social organizations, and speakers who support compassion and inclusion of immigrants by creating welcoming communities. Outside of the office I enjoy dancing and teaching the ancient art of Ukrainian egg decoration at festivals and community centers.
People are at the heart of our work, and we have some really great people.
We help our clients change the world for the better. Interested in joining the team?
An anti-racist PRR dismantles systems of advantage based on race when and wherever possible. We engage staff of all racial identities in dismantling white supremacy culture at work. This includes personal ideologies, beliefs, and behaviors. And, it includes removing white supremacy culture from the systems, cultural messages, institutional policies, procedures, and practices that PRR and our staff interact with and inform. We believe it is not enough to be “not racist.” We must be “anti-racist.”
