Community Engagement Specialist
I support our clients with communications and public engagement efforts, with focus areas in accessibility and zero-emissions transportation. I’m passionate about accessibility and mobility, how all people move from point A to point B, and how we can create more equitable, accessible, inclusive systems and communities. PRR allows me to grow and learn with my coworkers and our clients, always challenging our thinking toward improvement. As a newer Seattle resident, I’ve loved plugging into my community through the Beacon Hill Food Forest and exploring the city’s active transportation infrastructure. I also love visiting Seattle’s parks – trail running at Seward, biking through Discovery Park, or kayaking Lake Washington from Magnuson.
People are at the heart of our work, and we have some really great people.
We help our clients change the world for the better. Interested in joining the team?
An anti-racist PRR dismantles systems of advantage based on race when and wherever possible. We engage staff of all racial identities in dismantling white supremacy culture at work. This includes personal ideologies, beliefs, and behaviors. And, it includes removing white supremacy culture from the systems, cultural messages, institutional policies, procedures, and practices that PRR and our staff interact with and inform. We believe it is not enough to be “not racist.” We must be “anti-racist.”
