Sitting in Portland, I'm charged with expanding PRR's work with existing and new clients in Oregon. My work encompasses strategic communications, community outreach, and urban planning, with extensive experience supporting state and local public agencies, port authorities, and electric utilities. Working at PRR gives me the advantage of access to the breadth and diversity of experience among our amazing staff. Out in the community,  I participate in SOLVE, Oregon’s annual beach clean-up. It’s so satisfying to end the day with several giant bags of garbage off the beach! I also love to spend time outdoors, rain or shine. Hiking, horseback riding, and playing with my yellow lab are among my favorite outdoor activities.

I serve as the bridge between our clients and the Russian community, bringing understanding and creativity to projects that involve a variety of worldviews. This work allows me to utilize my passions for language, cross-cultural communication, and outreach to the Russian-speaking community. Previous to PRR, I supported similar work for the Welcome to Kirkland event, part of the national movement, Welcoming America. The event brought together musicians, dancers, social organizations, and speakers who support compassion and inclusion of immigrants by creating welcoming communities. Outside of the office I enjoy dancing and teaching the ancient art of Ukrainian egg decoration at festivals and community centers.

I specialize in design and implementation of outreach and digital engagement for transportation and environmental plans and projects. My skills include proactive project management, strategic planning, writing, and editing. Working at PRR means contributing to the delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects—my passion. Outside of the workday, I entertain my little dog and stay active and humble through a variety of outdoor hobbies and volunteer programs.

My strategic communications role at PRR leverages my expertise in the aviation and transportation industries. Working at PRR means realizing my passion for informing and engaging people, helping share their stories and experiences with our clients. Best of all, I get to do this work alongside a world-class team of professionals to help support projects that positively affect our communities. Outside of consulting, I am proud to coach middle school students in speech – helping them find their own voice. I am also passionate about coaching cross country, running, and playing games with my family.

I am multifaceted and all about efficiency, thought leadership, and inclusion. I have an enthusiasm for creating and facilitating systems that help our internal project teams achieve their goals. I also help clients identify and engage their stakeholders, serving as a bridge between decision-makers and the people affected by their decisions. Even though I am in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area, I participate in several internal groups that include members from all our office locations to ensure PRR is consistently being mindful of our impact and exhibiting our values both internally and with our clients. In my personal life, I love to spend my time outdoors, either exploring my hometown of Washington DC with my son or hitting concerts and festivals with friends.

I help communities affected by our clients’ projects to have a voice in the decision-making process. This work feeds my passion for serving my community, expanding the table to hear the experiences of others, especially folks who have been historically underserved or underrepresented. I'm also currently serving on the board for the Pacific Northwest Conference and volunteered as a tax preparer for United Way’s Free Tax Prep Campaign program. Outside of work, you’ll find me exploring Seattle practicing street photography, or sitting in one of my favorite coffee shops in the city.

I support our clients with communications and public engagement efforts, with focus areas in accessibility and zero-emissions transportation. I’m passionate about accessibility and mobility, how all people move from point A to point B, and how we can create more equitable, accessible, inclusive systems and communities. PRR allows me to grow and learn with my coworkers and our clients, always challenging our thinking toward improvement. As a newer Seattle resident, I’ve loved plugging into my community through the Beacon Hill Food Forest and exploring the city’s active transportation infrastructure. I also love visiting Seattle’s parks – trail running at Seward, biking through Discovery Park, or kayaking Lake Washington from Magnuson.

Vision statement of anti-racism.

An anti-racist PRR dismantles systems of advantage based on race when and wherever possible. We engage staff of all racial identities in dismantling white supremacy culture at work. This  includes personal ideologies, beliefs, and behaviors. And, it includes removing white supremacy culture from the systems, cultural messages, institutional policies, procedures, and practices that PRR and our staff interact with and inform. We believe it is not enough to be “not racist.” We must be “anti-racist.”
